Bronze: R4E Takanini

Bronze
This full-day course is ideal for riders on a Learner licence or those on a Class 6 Restricted licence riding LAMS-approved machines.
What you’ll get out of it
A sound understanding of road positioning: to better see and be seen, and its importance in cornering. Improved skills in low-speed manoeuvring and braking. Understanding the right speed and gear for any riding situation.
On the day
After a thorough briefing and safety check you’ll head out onto a mix of urban and rural roads, including some higher speed sections. Practicing skills may take place off-highway with several stops for assessment, including a lunch break at a café.
Ensure you wear protective motorcycle clothing, top to toe, bring a pen and paper, and money to buy lunch. Make sure your machine is warranted, registered and roadworthy. Be sure to arrive with a full tank.
Awesome day of learning. Having completed a bronze course previously, I note there were plenty of tips and tricks in this course that weren’t in my previous one. Plenty of confidence gained from this course!
Paul was very knowledgeable, shared his learning in an engaging way. He was super interested in where we were at with skills and knowledge and very encouraging. His feedback was direct, helpful and polite. His advise was concise and useful. I learnt so much from the course. Thanks Paul!
An kind informative and encouraging trainer. Came away with much more knowledge, new skills to practice, increased confidence and awareness and an eagerness for more formal training. Couldn’t have been a better experience.
I had a beautiful day with lots of riding. Learned a lot of new things. Thank you.
